Last few days of my teen

It has always been special to me, to be called as a teenager. Yeah, i'm here recollecting how my teenage went all over these years and to bid adieu to it. It still remains green and fresh how my first teenage birthday went. Back then i was thirteen and least did i know about the treat culture. Those days it was all about giving chocolates to friends and wearing new dress. The countdown for the birthday begins few weeks before and the night before the birthday will be filled with thrill, thinking of how the day would be at school. When i was young, i always fantasized my birthday for all the new dress i got and the small money saving which hits jackpot on this day.

The trend continued and i was growing old day by day. As we grow, our definitions for everything changes. Thus celebrating birthday changed as well. Friends calling at midnight and some of them wishing with a little abuse of having made them wait until twelve (as if we asked them to:-P, though it gives us happiness beyond measure when they wish us) and few others singing songs :D and pouring wishes and blessings. Joy surmounts. The hangouts in the name of birthday treats we had were the only occasion when all of us were able to get-together and would yap yap yap and yap all day. The day would be filled with surprises and finally piles up on the sweet memories of life. I always wonder if these celebrations are to make us forget that we are growing older, as birthday is the day when we get particularly reminded of old we are. Speaking about growing, teenage has taught me lessons for a lifetime. The breeze knows my smile, my pillow knows my sorrows and the mirror knows my fear. There had been many situations when i badly wished for it to be just a dream, and some, when i wished for it to last forever and many other instance which i wanted to redo, unfortunately there is no undo option in our life. Happens...
All of us wanted to grow up when we were young. Least did we know about the complexities we would bring with us. Towards the end of the teenage, everybody wishes to go back to their childhood. How badly do we miss our childhood?!
Wonder why i talk on childhood??? i'm going to step out of my teenage in a couple of days and hence a small flashback , realization and an initiate to write BLOGS :D
